Job Purpose:
The Principal Clerk is responsible for managing the administration processes, systems, and controls in the City Research and Policy Advocacy Department. This role includes providing comprehensive administrative support, coordinating meetings and workshops, handling correspondence, and maintaining records and fleet management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support for the Research and Policy Advocacy Department
  • Organizing meetings, workshops, and conferences
  • Recording and preparing minutes of meetings
  • Managing information retrieval and filing
  • Arranging preventive maintenance and certifying documentation
  • Handling petty cash and office fleet vehicles
  • Ordering goods and services, managing electronic requisitions, and liaising with suppliers
  • Performing receptionist and telephonist functions

Requirements:
