Job Description
Mthashana TVET College is excited to offer the BANK SETA Funded Learnerships for 2024, providing unemployed South African youth with the chance to participate in in-service training across multiple disciplines. The program, supported by BANK SETA, offers a platform for participants to gain practical work experience, equipping them with the skills needed to thrive in their respective fields. The program includes a monthly stipend and covers 18 months of training at various host employers.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for these learnerships:
- Hold a recognized National N6 Certificate in the relevant field (Business Management, Human Resource Management, or Management Assistant).
- Be a South African youth under the age of 35.
- Possess a valid South African Identity Document or Smart Card.
- Have no criminal record.
- Be committed to completing the 18-month program.
- Have not previously received a stipend for a similar program.
Duties & Responsibilities
Participants in the BANK SETA Funded Learnerships will be responsible for:
- Performing duties as instructed by their supervisor or mentor.
- Completing tasks related to the development requirements of their specific field.
- Engaging in tasks as per instructional offerings indicated in the program’s logbook.
- Completing duties relevant for the application of the National Diploma from the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).

- A recently updated comprehensive CV.
- Copies of your ID and Matric/NCV Level 4 certificate.
